Technical Support / Re: 400 SPR in old windows wallet I can't access

in what way does it crash?

If it's just a race condition (can happen) you just need to let it finish its job even if it doesn't seem to react (look at the CPU % that spreadcoin uses during this time, if it shows that it is working just let it finish its job).

Thank you for the response.

I downloaded the newest version and synced it.  However, when I move the old wallet.dat and begin the client, it starts to reindex and then the whole client crashes after awhile.

Any ideas?

You are mixing up quite a few things and limiting your rpc port to only allow localhost connections:

rpcconnect = 127.0.0.1
rpcallowip = 0.0.0.0/0
rpcallowip = 127.0.0.1

just delete all of this, and leave only rpcallowip = 127.0.0.1 if you want to allow only connections from the same computer.

Put something like rpcallowip = 192.168.178.* if you want to allow only connections within your local network.

NEVER open up rpc port to the outside world, hackers might find ways to possibly even empty your wallet if you are not careful.
