Icons

Personally, i hate the ugly transaction icons: input or output

I searched a better for this from oxygen icons (this match to other icons)
I found this: wallet and combine the arrow from this.

The result is something like this: http://imgur.com/Anvb1O2 and http://imgur.com/gSjyl8J

http://imgur.com/q2CMk4P

Is use svg images, but my inkscape skill is not the best. :(

If someone has better skill, he can finish the icons. (i just put the icons to image, not aligned to edges, better fade effect on arrows, etc).

Unfortunately, i can't find a good icon for mined transaction.

Here is the iconset: http://www.iconarchive.com/show/oxygen-icons-by-oxygen-icons.org.html
SVG come from here: http://ftp.heanet.ie/mirrors/ftp.kde.org/stable/4.14.3/src/oxygen-icons-4.14.3.tar.xz

I have no problems with the way the in- and out buttons look.
They are clear and to the point.
If it ain't broke don't fix it.  :)

I agree with sandwichspread.

Also, this icon doesn't go well with all the other icons... in my opinion...

if we were to change the icons, then we need to change all of them together, and only use icons from the same set.

BTW.... what's with the "masternode"-icon?

Can we talk about what icon to use for the masternode-icon? Because ATM it's the same as the mining-icon.

I like it.

BTW, just put img tags around an image link and it will show up in your post.

Code: [Select]
[img]https://cdn3.iconfinder.com/data/icons/network/512/16-512.png[/img]

And if you want to resize the image, add this:

Code: [Select]
[img width=64]https://cdn3.iconfinder.com/data/icons/network/512/16-512.png[/img]

Yes, I remember those sharp-edged darkcoin arrows... lol

One day, someone is going to cut himself with those arrows....

I didn't make the background pic, that's a render by darkcointalk user qbit. Some of his awesome work is here: https://darkcointalk.org/threads/darkcoin-logo.3405/

I made icons for myself:

Icons are build form nuvola icons (same iconset as the tabs), except wallet and miner icon (the signs are from nuvola too).

Personally, I wouldn't choose those transaction icons as they are unfortunately gender-biased. I chose coloured, textured variants of the standard icons, e.g.:
