nVidia Mining Need Help!
« on: October 09, 2017, 03:45:00 pm »
Hello everyone! Im new to spreadcoin aka SPR!

sync my wallet - done

Download the nVidia Miner - done

Encypt wallet - done

Conf file - done

But after all those that I've done still dont get no SPR . I start the miner and its showin up the kh/s but no SPR like I said.

Pretty sure the problem is in one of the following things - config.file or the example file

My config file is the following - miningprivkey= *The privet key of my wallet*

Example file - spreadminer -o http://127.0.0.1:41677 -u rpcuser -p rpcpass - default

Pretty sure its the example file cuz I do not know what to put in (-u rpcuser ; -p rpcpass )

Pleas really intereseted in mining this coin !

P.S Sorry for my poor english speeling. Working on it !

Thanks in advance !

Regards

Zdravko B.

Do what u wann do! Fuck what they want u to do !

I am totally new to all this, so forgive my ignorance...where is my config file?  Ive looked through all the folders, and I don't see it anywhere...
Go easy on me...  I'm a rookie!

You have to create your own config file.  type %appdata% into an explorer window and go to your spreadcoin folder.  create a text file in there named "spreadcoin" and change the extension from .txt to .conf.  You may have to press the "alt" button and go into folder/view options to allow you to see full name+extensions on files so that you can make it a .conf file.

Mine just says something like can't validate on CPU when I try to mine.  I don't understand this coin.  Doesn't seem like there is any support from the community.

And the miner from github seems ancient... talking about GPUs from over 2 years ago??

Are there any good open-source miners for this project?

Sadly no. (not yet)

You can buy sp_'s closed-source spreadminer for 0.05 BTC I believe.
(which is insanely overpriced now that BTC is nearly 20k $)

It will give you something like 16 MH/s on a 1080 Ti.
