I decided to make this poll as njs811 didn't for some reason.

Remember, Spreadcoin's masternodes are different from Darkcoin's.
People may think our masternodes are just a copy/paste job if we use the same name for them.

I personally think "Masternode" sounds very centralised, as if it is the master of all nodes and it makes all of the decisions (centralisation).

I think the masternode system we use at the moment should still be called masternodes, since it doesn't deviate enough away from darkcoin.
We even have implemented instantx as the first task of those nodes, exactly because our nodes are derived from darkcoins masternodes.

Therefor I think we should only start calling our nodes something else, when we have completely deviated technologically from darkcoins example.

ATM I vote to call them masternodes.

But I want this to change.

But why is it so important that we look similar to Darkcoin? We are not Darkcoin.

We don't look like darkcoin. We will try everything we can to be something else.
Mr. Spread has done a brilliant job so far to differentiate Spreadcoin from any other coin it was initially spawned from. (bitcoin --> litecoin --> darkcoin --> spreadcoin)

We dont need to mention the word darkcoin ever.
But for now I think it's too early to start calling our servernodes (and their fast transaction system) anything else than masternodes and instantX.
