Very good, I changed the link of the twitter link in the top right corner of spreadcointalk, so that it leads to your spreadcoin twitter.

Stay tuned.

Something I would like to know: Are we planning to do anything about the no pools issue? Is there a way we can correct this so that SPR is truly no pools or should we consider ourselves pool resistant? And I would make a new ANN on March 15. That is a month after his disappearance.

you cannot made a 100% nopool. everyone can "proxy" the rpc getwork, and distribute it to the miners.  The question is: is itworth? if the miners can steal the reward, the ansver is no. you can workaround this (like guarantee, suprnova's closed miner, etc), but thats not a 100% solution. so the current minersignature is enough just.

Anyway, 3-5% of hashpower is mined on suprnova pool, other still use solo. so "nopool" feature works. :)

this is what I have been talking about for quite a while regarding the worth of it ... pools are NOT an issue nor are they a threat ...

FARMS  are another story altogether ... I should know ...

if no pools existed - there would still be a developer or someone of the like to create a workaround to just about any wall any coin puts up ... especially if the coin is valuable to the community ...

so regardless of whether pools exist or they dont - it really doesnt make one iota of difference ... farms with many workers WITHOUT pools can do the same thing ... its just a little bit more work ...

a large farm can actually do more processing than most solo workers collectively ... why? ... becuase of the computing power that each individual machine has in the farm acting as a collective single unit ... same as any farm ...

so really - whats the problem? ...

so much is said about decentralization that you are actully missing the point ... and the point is simply this - the PROGRESSION of the coin ... not its war against centralization ...

pools are not a bad thing - they never have been ... but the FOCUS on that point and the stagnation created by it produces a negative impact on the coins improvement ... especially if all its doing is just creating another functionless barrier to pools ( which it CANT do to large farms anyway ) ... so where is the progression and improvement of the coin then? ...

the direction that is being taken at the moment is a good one - albeit not necessarily a massively positive one ... so if eveyone STILL continues to focus / stagnate on this one point - then this coin wil go no where fast - no matter how much proposed improvement is talked about ...
