If I send myself payments now on mainnet, will they turn into masternodes when u

Mr. Spread,

If I sent myself a bunch of 100+SPR payments on mainnet right now, when masternodes make it to mainnet and I upgrade, would those payments automatically become masternodes?  Or would I have to resend them?

Yes, this way you will be able to skip the 50 confirmation time.
Ofcourse you need to start them in the MNlist for them to become MNs, they will not do that by themselves.

What you will get are what I call "hypothetical masternodes", they will appear in the list as potential MNs you can start.

You already planning for the coming "horse race", hm?  ;D

My ETA is for it to hit mainnet about 30 minutes before Darkcoin gets its' IX on mainnet

In seriousness, no idea.  It'll depend on how bug-free Mr. Spread's next build is and how long he wants to test it.

It would be better for Mr. Spread to take his time to confirm complete success rather than implement a broken system. Maybe it will be sooner than later, but I am imagining not.

Well, the next testnet is imminent within the next few days so I imagine there might be some issues that need to be resolved and then either another test or not.

The last test lasted something like four days but I am unsure that is a proper metric for what he is doing...nor would I presume as such.

I suppose I could have said that I have no idea...

And agreed with the above post - given the fud then it is better to wait longer, if necessary, for something that works off the bat.

No, we will start round 2 as planned. We need theory but foremost we need practical experiments.

And again, nothing is broken within the no-pool feature. Let's continue an honest exploration and discussion, enough with the speculations and assumptions based on misinformation.

That's right, it will help keep the noobs away from all the scam pools that will pop up one way or the other, especially if the SPR price continues to rise...
